THE INNOVATION
We conducted a series of video diaries and collaborative online workshops to deep dive into the barriers and challenges individuals, who identify as female, non-binary, and those from an ethnic minority background, face when considering early careers in tech.
THE IMPACT
Transformative Insights: We delivered a comprehensive research debrief that uniquely captured the perspectives of individuals and communities whose voices had previously been underrepresented. This approach was lauded as both 'unique and engaging’, setting a new benchmark for inclusive research practices.
Strategic Impact: The insights gained from this research propelled Penna on a transformational journey, fundamentally reshaping its approach to cultural research. These insights were instrumental in refining HMGCC's outreach strategy, enhancing their efforts to attract a more diverse talent pool in early careers.
By embedding these perspectives into their strategic framework, Penna not only elevated their own capabilities but also drove meaningful change in how HMGCC engages with and supports emerging talent from diverse backgrounds.
The Word On The Curb team have been a revelation. They possess a rare passion for initiating conversations, even on sensitive subjects, and delivering insights that can drive change on a significant scale, not just within our client's workforce but also within society at large.
